Washington D.C.

Finally the time has come. I’ve been waiting so long to go to D.C. I had the chance to go with some of my classmates to Washington D.C. as part of our school trip. Only 50 kids got to go, so you had to sign up quickly! Washington DC has a lot of interesting sights to see. Never in my life did I imagine that I was going to see the White House, or the Capital. When you see the White House in person it is a lot more smaller than you see in the pictures, but it was so interesting to see. I wish we could have went into it, but the outside was still very cool. We also had the chance to see the Smithsonian and the Holocaust Museum. Towards the end of our visit, we got to see some of the famous memorials, and cemeteries. The best part was I got to experience this trip with some of my best friends! We all got room together in the hotel, and just having the freedom of exploring new things was amazing. I miss DC all the time, and I hope to go back someday.
