Denmark

When people say Denmark is the happiest country in the world, they aren’t wrong. Denmark is probably the most amazing and interesting place I have ever been to. The people are so friendly and kind to each other it just melts my heart. I went to Denmark for a soccer tournament, and we did a TON of sightseeing.

We played against different teams from Sweden and Denmark, and they all spoke Swedish and Danish. My teammates and I couldn’t understand them at all, but they could understand us. Most of the people spoke fluent English. Some of the players told us they started learning English in 3rd grade.

We went on a canal ride, visited the town of Copenhagen, and went to a famous castle. Also, we went to an amusement park called Tivoli Gardens which was huge. I couldn’t have asked for a better trip. I’m so glad and so thankful for this experience.
